Tamara is one of the strongest coders in the ASC industry. She joined nimble in 2004 and is Senior Vice President of Performance Review and handles creating and conducting a systematic audit process for our clients and coders. She then identifies areas of opportunity for improvement and organizes the training of any such coding or compliance issues.
Tamara also developed a training program for new coders, ensuring her team receives continuous coding education courses to stay current with trends and changes in the industry.
Tamara began her career at SmithKline Clinical Laboratories as a medical technologist. She then moved into various healthcare roles before joining nimble. She often speaks at industry conferences, including ASCA (Ambulatory Surgery Center Association) and Becker’s ASC. Tamara has also contributed to leading industry publications.
Tamara earned a B.S. in Biology from St. Louis University. A former collegiate athlete, Tamara enjoys watching her favorite sports teams, the St. Louis Cardinals, the St. Louis Blues, and all sports teams at Indiana University and the University of Missouri.
